Pneumatic Vehicles Design Engineer

After achieving his Engineering Diploma in 1994, Steve started work at Wisbech Bulk Systems Ltd. as an apprentice Design Engineer, designing bodies and trailers for a variety of vehicles including bulk blower bodies on rigids and trailers, aggregate rigid tippers, ejector trailers, walking floor trailers and drop side rigids among other special projects.

In 2001 he worked at Trucklogic Ltd. as Design Engineer before becoming manager of a small design team. In 2006 he moved to Wilcox CV Ltd. as a Product Engineer within a small design team working on a variety of rigid and trailer bodies. In 2016 he joined Priden in 2016 as a Design Engineer, where he is involved in the initial design of vehicle layouts, whilst producing individual customer layout drawings and build drawings for production.

David started his career working for a Schmidt Manufacturing producing Municipal Road Sweepers and worked his way up the management team ladder over an 18 year period. He joined Lawrence David as General Manager producing curtained sider trailers and rigid vehicles for a number of years.

He joined Priden in 2002 as the Works Manager with responsibility of all manufacturing functions, stores and Health & Safety. His role changed to General Manager in 2007 and to Operations Manager in 2017 supporting the directors in achieving both future strategic and current business goals.

Repair Service Co-ordinator Pneumatic Vehicles

Vic has been in the bulk blowing Industry since 1976 starting as an apprentice with Murfits working on Tankers and Bulk Blowers. In 1984 Vic joined MetalAir working in their new build section building Bulk Blower Trailers, Rigids and Tankers. In 1984 Vic joined Bridge Bodies applying his skills in the New Vehicle section building Bulk Blowers. Vic also applied his skills to the service section completing vehicle repairs and as a mobile on site engineer visiting customer sites and farms. In 1998 Vic moved to Priden bringing a range of specialist skills working as a Mobile Engineer and a Workshop Engineer on a range of customer Bulk Blowers and Sucker Vehicles. In 2002 whilst still at Priden Engineering Vic joined the office team managing the customer vehicle service section and co-ordinating the onsite servicing and breakdowns. In 2004 Vic returned to the workshop with responsibility of a Foreman role for both the service section and the new build section. In 2008 Vic l had a short time with United Trailers working as a Mobile Service Engineer. Vic returned to Priden in 2010 working in the new build vehicle section completing customer vehicles. In 2011 Vic became responsible as foreman for the service section and on site breakdowns applying his skills effectively to the role. 2017 saw Vic promoted to an office position as Repair Service Co-ordinator taking responsibility for the Service Workshop and all customer vehicle repairs.

Scott joined Priden in 2011 and has over 10 year’s experience of working in the commercial vehicle industry.

Scott started his career at Priden working in the Truck & Bus division as a sales executive, he enjoyed a successful three years working in this division before taking the opportunity in 2014 to transfer across to Priden’s Pneumatic vehicles division. Scott quickly became a pivotal part of this division and in 2016 was promoted to Sales Manager.

Scott is building a strong sales support team around him continuing to ensure customers receive the very best service and attention to detail Priden has to offer.

Scott also benefits from having first-hand experience with operating heavy goods vehicles, having gained his Class 1 Artic license in 2013 Scott is able to deliver demonstrations to customers onsite and give first hand advice / feedback on the various Pneumatic combinations Priden can offer.

Scott’s relentless focus on customer satisfaction is a key asset within Priden’s Pneumatic Vehicle division.

After gaining basic engineering qualifications at College Lorna went on to complete an engineering maintenance apprenticeship with a lorry mounted crane company. Lorna spent four years working as both a Mechanical Service Engineer and New Build Engineer, completing a variety of onsite and workshop based tasks, taking in all aspects of engineering including welding, fabrication, electrics, pneumatics and hydraulics. In 2004 Lorna decided to take the knowledge and skills she’d gained and move into a more office based role and became Service Co-ordinator for the company. In 2007 the company was taken over by HIAB, a large Crane manufacturer, with this came a promotion and Lorna became the Service Supervisor.

Lorna joined Priden in January 2014 as Service Administrator and after a brief spell off to start a family she now holds the role of New Build Sales Support.

Service Co-Coordinator & Administration Assistant

Aimee joined Priden Engineering January 1999 as a receptionist being the first point of contact for all Priden Engineering Customers and Suppliers. Aimee was promoted in January 2000 to the Sales Ledger Clerk pricing up job cards, raising sales invoicing, managing accounts and allocating payments. In 2003 Aimee was also responsible for the administration of Priden Contract Vehicles including, setting up of R & M Contracts, collating costs & revenue data and maintaining vehicle histories. In June 2013 Aimee was relocated to Service Administrator and responsible for: arranging customer service requirements for both on site and in-house repairs and completing all administration for the service and New Build Department. In March 2017 Aimee took up the new role of Service Co-Coordinator & Administration Assistant.
