Since full introduction of the European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA) system in 2014, specialist Priden teams have worked tirelessly to ensure all of our vehicles types and testing systems meet the standards set for Type Approval.
Priden has secured Type Approval on a range of vehicle associated devices and systems, and a wide range of vehicle body types.
As such we are pleased to announce that we have secured well over 70 NSSTA approvals since its implementation.
As a company we work closely with the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) ensuring our ever growing range of approvals are continuously updated in line with the manufacturer’s base approvals to ensure all products and services that we offer are fully compliant with the latest legislative requirements.

We have a range of approved Assembly Plants throughout the UK & Ireland as well as a dedicated 'WVTA Team' who oversee our conformity of production systems, ensuring that all products we provide continue to comply with all of the necessary legislation.
Being able to approve devices, systems and whole vehicles means that we can offer a complete solution for our customers. We can also offer multistage approvals for vehicles working in conjunction with other manufacturers when required.
All vehicles manufactured by Priden will be issued with a Certificate(s) of Conformity (CoC) which correspond with each vehicle produced within a specific vehicle type approval. This will allow registration of a completed vehicle type for use on the road. With all this extensive work on our type approvals, Priden customers have a wide range of choice when adding additional weight, lighting, and electrical items amongst many other great choices.
